Intro
David and I are serving with ELIC as English teachers in China, starting in August, 2006! We have been planning this adventure for quite some time now.
I started going to China in 1998, as a teenager. I fell in love with the Chinese people, which sent me back to China 4 more times! I majored in Chinese and Linguistics at the University of Florida, with a minor in TESOL. The summer of 2002, David and I met on a trip to Kunming, China. We dated long distance, as I was finishing my last year at UF and David was beginning his first year of college in Missouri. We fell in love through long conversations on the phone and through frequent visits. The following summer we were married and went to New Zealand on a similar summer trip. It really confirmed that we wanted to live overseas when David graduated as English teachers.
The past 3 years, we have grown in our love for each other and for helping others understand the important thing in life.
